Executive Officer (College Activities and Development) - Eighth College (Ref. 2026/022/01)
Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the comprehensive planning and implementation of large-scale College activities. Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly activity plans;
2. End-to-end implementation of event lifecycle: from creative concept oversight and supplier management to pre- and post-event marketing, on-site build-out, and guest-experience optimization;
3. Maintain the College’s social media, website and publications to enhance reputation and profile among current students, the wider University community and external stakeholders;
4. Responsible for developing College culture programs, including artistic events and social learning programs;
5. Supervise College student associations and clubs;
6. Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor; working during non-office hours will be needed to ensure the smooth implementation of various College activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Hold a bachelor’s degree or above;
2. At least three years of working experience in event planning, public relations or project management;
3. Skills and Qualifications
(1) Excellent abilities in planning, organizing, communicating, coordinating and executing;
(2) Ability to work independently, initiatively and resourcefully to take full responsibilities for completing tasks;
(3) Passionate about the mission of education with a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit;
(4) Excellent writing and communication skills in English would be advantageous.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
